Welcome to SimplicitCi
I wanted to personally talk to you about the thought of loving yourself.
Me personally, I feel like loving yourself consists of different things.
The first thing that’s associated with loving yourself is to accept yourself. You need to understand that there is certain things you might not like, and certain things that you can not change but you need to be willing to accept whatever it is in order to find peace within yourself. One thing that I have a hard time accepting is my stomach because I feel like my body would’ve been so much more fit (like it used to be) but at the same time I love my stomach and how my body is because that’s what makes me, me. Life happens and things happened causing me to gain weight but hey, it is what it is!
The second thing that I associate with loving yourself is balance and forgiveness. As humans we make mistakes. Some might be worse than others but understand that there is a lesson behind everything that we go through. Never regret anything that you experience because there is something valuable to take away from everything in life! Without forgiveness you will lack balance.
The third thing that I associate with loving yourself is to understand that not everyone will love you. Some people are just not meant to be in your corner, and it’s perfectly okay! Some people will love you for everything you have but some nitpick simply due to your taste being different or you carrying yourself differently. Don’t let the people who DONT love you be the reason YOU don’t love you. Regardless of what anyone may say/think/do it is essential that you find it in yourself to stay true to yourself.
I may not be a size two or four anymore but I still love every part of myself.
So, with all of that being said and done.
- Make yourself the #1 priority.
- Stop criticizing yourself.
- Forgive yourself!
Thank you for reading!
